This November, The Tavern - Grill & Lounge presents an autumn-exclusive afternoon tea. Guests can discover the beautiful harmony of East and West, as aromatic Uji matcha and smooth, mellow chestnut take center stage. The menu includes a “Matcha Opera,” an indulgent creation layered with almond sponge, matcha cream, and ganache, crafted with premium Uji matcha from Kyoto. The “Chestnut & Coffee Tart,” features a crisp tart pastry layered with chestnut paste and coffee cream using the hotel’s original cold-brewed coffee blend. An autumn-inspired “Marron Cookie” makes its debut, baked to a tender crumble with sweet chestnut and fragrant almonds.

For a savory treat, try the “Persimmon and Brie, Dried Fruit Bread.” Sweet, grilled persimmon pairs beautifully with creamy Brie and a touch of honey, all atop a flavorful raisin bread base. Finally, the table-served chocolate bar welcomes a seasonal newcomer: “Chestnut Chocolate,” allowing guests to break off their preferred portion from three types of chocolate, served with roasted chestnuts for a warm, toasty finish.
