Influenced by his father who enjoyed bread making as a hobby, Reito was interested in pastry making from an early age. After joining historical Japanese confectionary company Seijo Fugetsudo and patisserie Maison Souvenir, Reito enrolled in confectionery school, Tokyoto Kashigakuen in 2003. While attending school, Reito worked part-time at Grand Hyatt Tokyo and was hired full-time after graduating from confectionary school the following year. Working on a team of Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Reito honed his skills, expanding the range of his craft to include chocolates, confectionaries, cakes wedding cakes and was promoted to Pastry Chef in 2011. In February 2017, Reito was appointed Pastry Chef of Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills.
