Located on the 1st floor of Andaz Tokyo, the Pastry Shop — bathed in natural light and featuring a white-themed interior — offers a wide variety of sweets ideal for gifts or souvenirs. In addition to classic favorites such as pound cakes, madeleines, Baumkuchen and financiers, the selection features signature items like the “Andaz Tropézienne,” a semi-hard brioche filled with light cream, and the buttery, crisp “Palmier.”
The Palmier, made from buttery puff pastry layered with sugar, is prepared using the same recipe as the immensely popular "Galette des Rois," which sells out by reservation each January. Finished with vanilla sugar, this French pastry delivers a rich, refined flavor. The two-piece set is perfect for casual enjoyment at teatime, while the ten-piece set is individually wrapped and beautifully packaged in a special box.
